A Different Twist on Homemade Gifts – Program a Quartz Crystal
Are you looking for a unique gift to give your loved ones? Try programming a quartz crystal with your holiday wishes for them. It is an easy and rewarding process when you utilize your knowledge of Sacred Stone Grids. Simply follow these basic instructions to create a homemade gift that really speaks from your heart.
- Pick stones and a layout board for a grid layout that resonate with your wishes for the intended recipient of your gift. Pick a clear quartz crystal for the center stone.
- Physically and energetically clear all the stones and your grid board using a method of your choice. My favorite way is to place the stones in a ceramic or glass bowl or pitcher with a small handful of sea salt. I then place the bowl under a tap of cold slowly running water. When the salt is all dissolved I gently transfer the stones to a soft towel to dry. Be particularly careful to clean the clear quartz center stone of all past recorded energies. I usually clean layout boards with a clearing spray such as Just Add Vodka.
- Assemble the stones on the board as you planned. Place the clear quartz in the center spot.
- Be sure to include your intention of programming the center stone while saying the affirmation when activating the grid. Something like, "I activate this grid to program this center stone with love and cheer for the holiday season" would be appropriate if, indeed, your grid layout is for love and cheer.
- Leave the layout in place for a minimum of 24 hours to allow the energies of the stones to program the quartz crystal. Be sure your intentions are clear and your hands are clear and clean when handling the stone after programming.
It is nice to put the programmed stone in a drawstring bag with a card that explains the energies the stone is programmed with. Any way that you package your gift it will be appreciated for the care that went into it.
